Folsom Handy (“we”, “us”) provides home services in Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Granite Bay, Roseville, Orangevale, Rancho Cordova, Citrus Heights and nearby communities in California. This policy describes what information we collect through folsomhandy.com, how we use it, whom we share it with, and how we protect it.

Information we collect

Information you provide: when you request a quote, book a visit, chat with our online concierge, or pay an invoice, we collect your name, phone number, email address, home address, your preferred way to be contacted (call or text), and the details of the work you describe, including photos you choose to attach.

Location you share: if you tap “Use my location”, your browser asks for permission and we convert your coordinates into a street address to pre-fill the form. We do not track your location in the background.

Collected automatically: privacy-friendly usage analytics (pages viewed, anonymous daily visitor counts — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers stored by us) and, when advertising pixels are enabled, standard conversion signals for Google and Meta as described below. We also receive your approximate region from our hosting provider to show the appropriate contact options.

How we use it

To respond to your requests, schedule and perform visits, send booking confirmations and schedule updates by email or text, issue invoices and receipts, answer questions through our AI concierge, prevent spam and fraud, and improve the site. If you opt in, we may send occasional service updates; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only what they need: Stripe (payment processing — we never see or store your card number), Twilio (text messages and call routing), Google (email delivery and, if enabled, ad conversion measurement), Anthropic (the AI concierge processes chat messages to answer you), Meta (ad measurement, if enabled), and our hosting and security providers (Vultr, Cloudflare). These providers process data under their own security and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law.

How we protect it

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Our server is firewalled with no publicly open application ports, access is restricted to the owner with key-based authentication and two-factor-protected admin access, and webhooks are cryptographically verified. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 provider. We keep customer records only as long as needed to provide service and meet legal obligations.

Your choices

You may ask us to view, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of marketing messages at any time.
